Driftwood Doll Films 2016

Having just wrapped our last film of 2015 on Christmas Eve, it’s straight back to it at the start of 2016.

In what is sure to be a busy year, Driftwood Doll Films already have several projects slated for production; with writer / director Kamila Dydyna’s LGBT short “The Betrayal” being prepped for a shoot between late January and mid February with her co-director Natasha Waugh of Fight Back Films.

“Turning Point”, a true life feature thriller written by Joe Lynch and Michael O’Dwyer, for which we’ll be seeking co-producers and an outside director, will be having a promo shoot soon to begin the funding process.

A psychological horror short “Henry Kills the Devil”, written by Michael O’Dwyer and to be directed by Eilís Abbott, will be the first of several in-house shorts and bigger project promos of 2016, and towards the end of the year production will begin on DDF’s darkly comedic coming of age punk feminist feature “Driftwood Dolls”.

This will be alongside the release and festival runs of already in post-production short films “Afterthought” by Sinead Ralston, and “Dead Inside” written by Joe Lynch and Michael O’Dwyer and directed by Michael.
