JOE LYNCH – ACTOR/ WRITER/ PRODUCER
Joe Lynch co-wrote, produced, and starred in our first DDF film Contact, and also co-wrote and starred in the Michael-directed Dead Inside at the end of 2015. Joe and Michael have several projects in development including Joe’s true life feature film project Turning Point and a supernatural TV series based around an animal rescue centre. SINEAD RALSTON – WRITER/ DIRECTOR
Sinead Ralston met Michael on a Filmbase writing course in 2012, and is developing several projects including a female-led TV drama series. In 2015, Sinead wrote and directed her first short film Same Time Same Place, produced by Driftwood Doll Films, and was recently a finalist in Fisín, a pitching competition run by the Dingle Film Festival.
KAMILA DYDYNA – ACTOR/ WRITER/ PRODUCER/ DIRECTOR
Kamila Dydyna is an actor, writer, and award-winning filmmaker. Her debut short film Testimony, which we associate produced in 2015, was recently picked up by RTE, Aer Lingus, and U.S. Shorts HD Network. Her new short The Betrayal, a twenty-five minute LGBT drama, was Driftwood Doll Films’ biggest project to date and premieres at the GAZE International LGBT Film Festival in July 2016. NATASHA WAUGH – WRITER/ DIRECTOR
Natasha Waugh founded Fight Back Films with fellow director Richard Keaney, and has directed five short films to date; Food Fight, Running Commentary, Lag – and in 2016 she has already co-directed The Betrayal with Kamila Dydyna, produced by Driftwood Doll Films, and Terminal, which we associate produced. It recently premiered at the Galway Fringe Festival. Her other films have had success on the festival circuit too, including Food Fight’s entry in the 68thCannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, and Running Commentary’s selection for the inaugural Dublin Feminist Film Festival, the 5th London Feminist Film Festival, and the Women’s Director International Film Festival in India. STEPHEN BRADY – WRITER/ DIRECTOR
Stephen Brady directed our first company film Contact. Stephen previously directed short films Normal and Bad Karma, and is currently writing his first feature film.
SINÉAD O’RIORDAN – ACTOR/ PRODUCER
Sinéad O’Riordan is an actor and producer living in Dublin. She is the founder and artistic director of ORion Productions. Her theatre productions of ‘The Woolgatherer’ (Irish Premiere), ‘Breathless’ (Winner of a coveted Irish Times Theatre Award) and more recently The Motherf**ker With The Hat (European Premiere) have garnered her five star reviews and critical acclaim. Sinéad recently co-produced and performed in the feature film, Dead Along The Way, directed by Maurice O’Carroll, and the short Tae Talk starring Mary McEvoy, which both premiered at the 2016 Galway Film Fleadh, and were associate produced by Driftwood Doll Films.
