Driftwood Doll Films have several short and feature film projects in development.

TURNING POINT – is a visceral and shocking coming-of-age feature drama about a man rocketing towards self-destruction, until circumstances force him to try and go straight despite the overwhelming odds.

“TURNING POINT” is part of Michael’s ongoing film-making partnership with Joe Lynch and was shortlisted for interview by the Cornerstone IFB scheme at the Factory.

DRIFTWOOD DOLLS – is a funny, gritty, romantic, heart-wrenching, but ultimately life-affirming coming of age story about an outsider teenage girl facing extremely difficult moral choices that could determine the course of her adult life.

“DRIFTWOOD DOLLS” was Michael’s first feature film script, its title coming from the idea that a person in a sea of troubles needs someone to cling to so they don’t sink under the weight.  A driftwood doll is someone who offers to be that person, fighting on your side and not letting you give up hope.

SHIFTER – is a supernatural TV drama series in development based around the real and often cruel treatment of animals by humans, exploring the theme that we have more to fear from the savage instinct within people.

“SHIFTER” is part of Michael’s ongoing film-making partnership with Joe Lynch.  Below is a 30 second teaser promo we made for RTE Storyland 2015.
